A Familiar Face

This past week has been very special and very eventful, in my own way. Lectures have started again but I can't complain, as my schedule this semester allows me to have fridays off and mondays to start in the afternoons. On Thursday evening, my friend Sofia came down to visit me from Aberdeen, Scotland. The trip was meant to take 9 and a half hours, however after multiple delays, it ended up taking 11 and a half hours. All I can say is that she wasn't keen to sit down for a few hours after.

Every experience with Sofia is special. We have been best friends since we were 13 but were friends for years before that. We are able to enjoy eachother's company without conversation or special event, but after each visit we always leave with various inside jokes. Most of her visit consisted of eating mash potatoes and watching movie after movie after movie. Apart from that we did have a few outdoor excursions, such as a walk around town, showing her the campus, a night out with my friends and walking to the shops occasionally. After she left on Monday morning, I've had my head set on my studies and my driving theory test coming this Friday.

My house next year is the centre blue house
